Here’s a quick look at some key moments on our journey.

Our story

1981

LifeSearch founder Tom Baigrie leaves his native South Africa. He lands in the UK and gets a job in insurance.

1995

Life-insurance advocate Tom sells a policy to a friend during a rain-break at a cricket match.

1997

Unfortunately, Tom’s cricket friend had to claim. The policy made a colossal difference for a grieving family.

1998

Tom and business partner Arthur Davies launch LifeSearch, a protection adviser that, for once, would do right by the customer.

2004

A breakout year. LifeSearch protect family number #100,000 and pick up five top industry awards.

2008

LifeSearch launch our own awards to recognise firms who truly serve customers and support families.
